I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, especially the Olympic Peninsula. While
there, I took a look at several homes for sale but everything was so expensive.
I
was doing some investigation on a particular modular home located in a park but when
talking to the neighbors discovered issues. But, I ended up having a conversation
with the lady that owned, (or ran), the place. She thought she had a place that
might be a solution to wanting an inexpensive way of staying out in that territory
with my dogs. She was wanting to sell the model (office) of a retirement home community
that was on the west side of town. The place was small, but wasn’t expensive.
When
I got there, I couldn’t believe the view. For $325 a month, I get that view. For
12 months that is $3,900. And, she would sell the little trailer for about $7,000.
The trailer has a working kitchen, bath, and washer/dryer. The living room faces
the view and there is a deck with a view. I asked her about the dogs and a fence….as
long as it wouldn’t be permanent….she is fine with it. She is in the process of
putting in new carpets and making sure everything works.
So, I am considering.
Let
me know what you think!
